  Cute place. Great menu, lots of choices. I got the grilled brie with apples and fig jam. So good. Good selection of breads and sweets. Only the parking isnt so great. But over all great place

  I always go to the boudin in Costa Mesa
  I stopped by on my way home and wasn't able to make food. I was starving.
  They had sent coupons advertising specials so I decided to use it here.
  I made the order and gave the coupon. Granted it was late. I'm fair. But the kid was completely unaware and untrained, he was clueless and refused to accept or accommodate it. I'm so upset.
  Boudin don't send people coupons if you refuse to accept.

  Walked in there was no line, wasn't too busy. Cashier got off the phone and took my order. Said it would be out in a minute (of course I know it'll probably take 5-10 minutes) 10 minutes to by, I wait some more. 15 minutes go by and I still don't have my food. I go up to the register and this girl checks on my food. Offers me a cup of soup in the mean time, and I said I ordered soup I don't want another one. She offers me a cookie but as soon as I can respond she walks away and goes back to the register to take orders, which was very rude. Another girl then tells me they're just waiting in my sandwich, and they'll bring the soup out first. I've been to the boudin by south coast, by main place. And I've never had to wait this long. Total of about 20 minutes just to get my food. To top it off they made my sandwich wrong. I wanted it warmed. But nope. Chicken was super cold.
  
  Won't be coming back to this location again.

  I normally don't really post anything on here but I just had to. I've been to this location many times and most times it's been pretty good. Today, I went in with my wife and order two normal meals. Nothing came out for 30 mins, went up to the cashier and politely asked for a refund because it took too long. They gave us back our money without an explanation or an apology of why everyone got their food but us. Just weird.

  This place deserves 5 stars to bring super accommodating to my Elite mom, Audrey G. She's kind of a PITA when it comes to ordering - she asked to taste three of the soups, she wanted to taste the salad dressings ("I hate when there's too much ginger"), she queried then mercilessly about the ingredients of the salads, she told them how much she hated goat cheese and cilantro, and (eventually) she ordered the exact same thing as me - clam chowder in a bread bowl and an Asian chicken salad...no cilantro.
  
  Luckily, the young guys were there were so nice, so friendly, and somehow evidently used to antics like my mom's. We got our food fast, the clam chowder was delicious as always, the bread bowl was ginormous and tasty, the salad was fresh and light (but could have used a few more pieces of chicken) and the salad dressing did not, in fact, have too much ginger.
  
  I wish Boudin would come to the East Coast, so my mom and I could be annoying there more often.
